1. Oatmeal Bars:

The main ingredients that you will need to bake this easy-to-bake dessert are oat flakes, non white flour, cinnamon powder, baking powder, salt, vanilla powder, maple syrup, fruit jam and sunflower oil that is low-fat healthy oil. It does not take much time to bake these bars.

Method:

You will first have to mix all the dry ingredients together well in a bowl.
Then add the maple syrup and sunflower oil.
Next grease a baking tray and put half of the contents on the tray, pressing it to make it firm. Wet your hands a bit so that the mixture does not stick to your hands.
Now spread the jam evenly on the mixture and put the remaining portion to cover the jam.
Bake for about 20 minutes on 180C and when done, cool it.
Now cut it into small bars and if you wish to decorate the pieces, wrap each bar in lively colored paper and serve the kids.

2. Fruit Yogurt:

Fruits are full of minerals, vitamins, calcium and starch that are absolutely necessary for a child’s proper growth. So we must always try to use some kinds of fruits in a clever way so that children do not realize they are having fruits but lick up every bit of their desserts happily. Yogurt is also very healthy as it is made from milk it contains a lot of calcium and proteins.

To make a delicious fruit yogurt dessert you will have to get a variety of fruits of different colors like raspberries, blueberries, apples, pineapple, apple, mango etc. berries jam and yogurt.

How to make it:

Cut the fruits into tiny pieces.
Blend them well with the jam.
Allow the contents to settle down.
Mix with yogurt.
Pour in small ice cream cups or long glasses.
Top them up with finely sliced almonds, raisins and cherries.

3. Farm Fresh Apple Pie

We all know that “an apple a day keeps the doctor away” and so whenever you get opportunity to feed the kids with fresh apples make the best use of it. Apples available at the farms are the best in every way. They are fresh and wholesome for they are grown in farms where fertilizers are not used. These apples are no doubt healthier and tastier.

To prepare this yummy dessert for kids you need green apples, brown sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon powder, nutmeg powder, flour, frozen pie dough and butter cubes.

Method:
Pre-heat the oven at 375 degrees.
Cut the apples into slices and toss them together with lemon juice, brown sugar, spices and flour in a bowl and set it aside.
Prepare the topping with flour, sugar or honey in a bowl.
Put the butter in the mix and blend it crumbs are formed.
Take out the crust from the refrigerator.
Pour the apples into it.
Sprinkle the dry topping on the apple filling until the pie is fully covered.
Now place the pie on a greased baking tray and put it in the oven to bake for 40 to 45 minutes till the filling is cooked and you see it bubbling and the upper crust becomes golden brown.
Keep a watch over the top of the crust so that it does not burn.
When done, remove from the oven, cool and keep it in the fridge to set well.
