Ingredients:<serves for 6>
Dried navy beans 4 1/4 oz
Fresh chopped kale 2 oz
Diced onion 2 oz
Diced celery 1.5 oz
Diced carrots 1.5 oz
Tomato paste 1.5 tablespoons
Minced garlic 1 tablespoon
Chicken stock 32 oz
Chopped parsley 1/2 tablespoon
Chopped thyme 1/2 tablespoon
Chopped basil 1/2 tablespoon
Black pepper 1/8 teaspoon
Salt<optional> 1/4 teaspoon
Diced smoked turkey 1/4 teaspoon
Instructions:
1.Soak dried navy beans, cook them in line with the manufacturer’s directions. Let cool and put it into the fridge for preparation
2.Wash clean all the vegetables ahead of time. Take out a stock pot and put kale, tomato paste, diced vegetables and garlic in. Cook vegetable mixture over medium- high heat until vegetables become soft and onions become lucid. Stir with a slice often
3.Put in chicken stock, salt, cooked beans and black pepper in the stock pot and mix well with the vegetables
4.Turn the temperature to medium-low heat. Cover it with a pot cover and boil for 20 minutes. Mix once in a while
5.Put diced smoked turkey and fresh herbs in and boil for at least another 10 minutes
