It is said that cookie is seen as small and flat cake biscuits by Americans and Canadians. According to research, it is invented by Iranians. Many girls like to eat cookies and have seen it a fashion to make cookies themselves and send to their lovers.

To return to the subject, I like cookies because they contain chocolate, raisins, almonds or coffee, sometimes for satisfying desires, I’d go to the supermarket to buy imported cookies originated from Belgium, I would say that it is very expensive.

But since I have eaten self-made raisin cookies, I’ve found that the European cookies are no more than normal cookies in which there are some more chocolate, almonds, peanuts and sesame. If you have time and interest, you can make your own cookies as well.

In order to fulfill my satisfaction and add some new stuffs to my desserts, I’ve selected a Metherlands Elma moka chocolate cookies, and I’ve tasted carefully for the subsequent self-making.

Cocoa cookies

In this weekend, I bring out all the ingredients that are needed to make cookies:
Butter: 400g
Low protein flour: 600g
Caster sugar: 200g
Milk powder: 25g
Eggs: 2
Ground milk chocolate: 150g
Cocoa powder: 30g

First and foremost, whip butter and caster sugar, then add in eggs and let them well incoporated. Sift the flour, milk powder and cocoa powder into the butter/sugar mixture, stir well. Spoon the cookie ingredients onto the ovenware, and press the cookie ingredients gently into a thin and round shape also by the spoon, you can help adjusting with your fingers. Put the ovenware into preheated 410F and bake for 20 minutes until you can smell the aroma of the well-baked cookies.

Let chill.Take one cookie with your hand and send into your mouth, instantly you will bite the chocolate particles and then the chocolate would melt in your mouth slowly and slightly, the smooth and soft sweetness of chocolate and bitter notes of cocoa together shape a taste of happiness.
