Gluten-Free Pudding with Baked Apples and Pears

Gluten is a food protein that is found in certain grains like wheat, rye, barley and a few others. Individuals who have been diagnosed with Celiac disease must avoid foods that contain gluten as it damages the functioning system of the small intestine. The result is that the small intestine cannot absorb even the most essential nutrients like calcium, fats, iron etc.

Eliminating gluten from the regular diet does not imply that you have to resist all the delicacies like desserts forever. There are many tasty dishes and desserts that are gluten-free but you will not get any difference between the desserts made from wheat flour and the ones without it. The gluten-free desserts are tastier and more nutritious. The Cheesecake, Blackberry Cobbler, Maple-pecan Pie etc are all gluten-free desserts that add extra sweetness to your meals.
