This is a pasta dish that you can not find easily in your local restaurant. It’s all about balanced nutrition for your sauteed kids. This pasta is along with fresh broccoli, an veggie that is rich in vitamin and can fight cancer.


Whole wheat pasta penne

Ingredients:<serves for 6>

Whole wheat penne pasta 11 1/2 ozs
Raw broccoli 6 ozs
Cooked chicken strips 3 7/8 oz
Shredded cheese 2 ozs
Non-fat milk 2 tablespoons + 2 5/8 teaspoons
Chicken broth 1 tablespoon + 2 3/4 teaspoons
Salt 3/4 teaspoon
Ground black pepper 3/4 teaspoon


1.Boil water in a stockpot, add pasta and cook for 15 minutes, until soft and crisp
2.Scoop pasta out and rinse with cold water
3.Drain pasta and lay them in a cooking dish
4.Boil water in a stockpot, add broccoli and boil for 5 minutes
5.Drain broccoli and rinse with cold water
6.Sprinkle well-cooked chicken strips on top of pasta and broccoli in a cooking dish
7.Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of pasta mixture
8.Take out a mixing bowl, mix milk, salt, black pepper and chicken broth together
9.Add the milk mixture to the pasta mixture and stir with a spoon
10.Heat oven to 350F, bake for 30 minutes until the cheese is melted
