A SIMPLE GLUTEN FREE PLUM TART FOR FAMILY

When the fruit flies and spiders are very busy in this time of year, that means it is a sign of ripe plums, so we should pick up the plums to make a delicious plum tart. Plums are very healthy to our bodies and this tart is dairy free and egg free.

 

Gluten free plum tart

 

Ingredients:
All purpose flour 1 1/4 cups + 1/4 cup for topping
Chopped pecans 1 cup
Brown sugar 3/4 cup
Ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon
Sea salt 1/3 teaspoon
Cold butter 3/4 cup
Ripe plums 3 cups

Preparation:

1.Ground pecans until it is fine. Stir in gluten free all purpose flour, cinnamon, sugar and salt.
2.Cut butter into cubes and add all dry ingredients into a food processor. Add water or milk spoon by spoon if the mixture won’t press together
3.Take out a 9 inch pan and brush some oil on. Press 1/4 of the dough into the pan with an even thickness. Preheat the oven to 350F, and put the pan into the oven and bake for 15 minutes
4.Cut plums into 1/4-1/3 inch thick, then place them in a circular shape around the top of the tart base, after the first circle is covered, lay the plums with another circular shape around the top of the first plums
5.Return to the oven for approximately 40 minutes until the plums are soft and tender
6.Let cool for at least 10 minutes. Them remove from the pan and cut to serve
